This Privacy Policy explains what information Watch Me Walk (operated by Felecia Howlett Stivers) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, any signature or message you submit for the robe, encouragement notes you send, and your choices about whether those may be shown publicly.
Payment information: when you sponsor or gift, your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — we receive only limited details such as a confirmation, the amount, and a payment reference.
Automatic information: a secure sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and basic technical data (such as your browser type) needed to operate and secure the Site.

2. How we use your information

To process sponsorships and gifts and deliver the perks you purchased.
To give you access to your sponsor lounge and its content.
To place your signature or message on the robe when your package includes it.
To respond to you and send sponsorship-related updates and receipts.
To show your name or note publicly only if you have given consent.
To keep the Site secure and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your use of checkout is also subject to Stripe’s privacy policy. We do not store your card number, CVC, or full payment credentials on this Site.

4. Service providers

We share information only with the providers that help us run the Site:

Stripe — payment processing.
Supabase — database, secure sign-in, and file storage.
Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.

5. Public display

Your name may appear on the public supporters wall, and an encouragement note you wrote may appear on the “Love Behind the Walk” page, only if you opted in to public sharing. Notes are reviewed before they appear. You can ask us to remove your name or note at any time.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in to your sponsor lounge. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep sponsorship and transaction records for as long as needed to provide perks, for accounting, and to meet legal requirements. Encouragement notes and consent choices are kept until you ask us to remove them or they are deleted during moderation.

8. Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for public display at any time. Recurring memberships can be canceled at any time to stop future billing. To make any of these requests, use the message box on the homepage.

9. Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
